The Livingston HealthCare Foundation invites the community to come together for its 3rd Annual Community Fundraiser on Friday, February 6th from 6 to 9 pm at the Mint Bar and Grill, located at 102 N. Main Street in Livingston. This year’s event will raise funds for a critical renovation of the Livingston HealthCare Medical Center pharmacy, an essential upgrade to support growing patient needs and keep care close to home.
Since the medical center opened in 2015, patient volumes have increased significantly. At that time, the pharmacy was designed to accommodate two pharmacists per shift. Today, the pharmacy regularly requires four to six staff members per shift, and the current space can no longer keep up with demand.
In addition to increased volume, the Livingston HealthCare pharmacy offers compounding services, including medications for infusion patients such as chemotherapy. To continue providing safe, efficient, and timely care, the pharmacy’s compounding rooms must be renovated and modernized to meet current and future needs.
The Livingston HealthCare Foundation has set a $750,000 fundraising goal to support this renovation and is already more than one-third of the way there, thanks to generous community support.
“This is our community health center,” said the Livingston HealthCare Foundation Executive Director Jessie Wilcox. “This fundraiser is for anyone who wants to have a great time while supporting a critical community need. Keeping high-quality care in Livingston requires community support, and this project is a perfect example of how we can come together to make a lasting impact.”
This year’s fundraiser coincides with the opening of the Winter Olympics, inspiring an Olympic-themed evening filled with fun and friendly competition. Guests can enjoy:
- An Olympic-themed costume contest
- The always-popular oversized Operation game
- Raffle prizes generously donated by local businesses
- Plenty of laughter, games, community spirit, and celebration
All community members are encouraged to attend and show their support for rural healthcare in Park County.
