Explore Livingston invites members of the business community to an informational meeting with crisis response specialists on Tuesday, April 21st at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be hosted at the new House of West, LLC (HOWL) co-work and creative space, 116 S. Main Street in Livingston.
Since many services for those in need are located Downtown, businesses can be impacted by people in crisis. The goal is to give business owners more tools and information to help minimize conflict situations that affect their business and area safety. Explore Livingston is initiating the gathering to enhance commerce, tourism, Downtown safety and vitality but is motivated by compassion and collaboration.
Come learn more about the services from the new City/County BRIDGE (Bringing Resources to Individuals Through Dignity, Grace and Empathy) mobile crisis response team, Livingston Police Department, Abuse Support Education & Prevention Network (ASPEN), Livingston Food Resource Center, Human Resource Development Council (HRDC), L'Esprit/Cool Café, and the Park County Drop-In Center. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss deescalation and who to call for which needs.
Thank you in advance to the participating organizations and co-hosts HOWL space. Light refreshments and soft drinks will be served. RSVP by April 20th at info@downtownlivingston.org. For more information, contact Kris King, Explore Livingston Director, at (406) 222-4848 or info@downtownlivingston.org.
