

Betsy Ann Luther of Livingston, Montana passed away at Spring Creek Inn Memory Care Center in Bozeman with her husband at her side on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was 84 years old.
Betsy was born May 27, 1940, in New London, Wisconsin, to Ernest and Delilah Zimmerman. She was followed in the family by a brother and a sister. When Betsy was young her family moved to Northbrook, Illinois, and later to Wheeling, Illinois, where she attended school. While attending high school she worked as a telephone operator after school, where she met Jack Luther, who was also working for the telephone company. They were married on August 30, 1958, and had four children while living in Libertyville, Illinois.
In 1967, Betsy and Jack, with family moved to Fort Collins, Colorado where they spent forty years raising their children, skiing, camping, and enjoying Colorado. Betsy worked for the school district at Timnath Elementary School as the office manager. When they retired, they spent the next phase of their life traveling anywhere in the world via bicycle and river cruises along with winters spent in Mexico. They enjoyed 66 wonderful years together.
Betsy passed away after a long and hard fought battle with dementia.
Betsy is survived by her husband, Jack Luther of Livingston; her daughter Lynda Jo (Larry) Moore of Fort Collins; her son Bryan (Kim) of Belgrade Montana; her daughter Andrya (Eric) of Montrose, Colorado; and her daughter Dyann (David) Murphy of Happy Valley, Oregon. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; her brother David (Esther) Zimmerman of Neenah, Wisconsin, and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Betsy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol.
No service is planned at this time.
