The Park County Community Foundation (PCCF) is now accepting applications for two scholarship programs supporting local students pursuing post secondary and vocational education.

The David Gibson Memorial Scholarship has expanded eligibility to include Park County youth aged 21 or younger, offering greater flexibility for students who take time between high school and vocational training or who pursue additional studies before entering a trade program. The award is $1,000 per student, and two scholarships are offered. Eligible students include graduates of Park County high schools, homeschooled students in Park County, and those currently enrolled in career or technical education programs.

Applications are also open for the Barbara Thronson Scholarship, made possible thanks to a bequest to the Park County Community Foundation by the estate of the late Barbara Thronson. The scholarship fund provides four, one time awards of $2,000 each to Park County students pursuing education at two  or four year institutions. The deadline for application, which includes one letter of recommendation, is April 16th. Recipients will be notified in early May.

Application details for both scholarships are available at www.pccf-montana.org or by calling 406-224-3920.
