In partnership with Park County school librarians and teachers, Elk River Arts and Lectures (ERAL) is launching Park County Reads!, a program created to support a culture of reading through book giveaways.
ERAL is hosting a holiday book drive and supporting the Giving Tree of Paradise Valley. Books for the schools have been chosen by faculty and are available for purchase for 10% off at Elk River Books (122 S. 2nd St. in Livingston) from now through December 14th. All are invited to select and purchase books for students in store or online. Gift books will go directly to librarians and faculty at Eastside and Winans Elementary schools, Sleeping Giant Middle School, and Park High, where they will be distributed to students ahead of their holiday break. The Giving Tree helps families during the holiday season, and will make sure each child on their list gets a book.
