Livingston HealthCare Begins Planning Stage of 100 Acres

(Livingston, MT) Livingston HealthCare (LHC) is in the early planning stage to develop the 100 acres of land adjacent to LHC’s campus. The land was acquired in early 2020 from the Watson family.

LHC is currently vetting potential partners to help develop the land. Once chosen, LHC will work with the developer to complete a full feasibility study. The study will explore the merits and viability of the land with assessments of the economic, financial, technical and environmental considerations.

No solid plans for the use of the land have been made. “LHC has just begun exploring

options for the use of the land,” says Bruce Whitfield, CEO of LHC. “Once we have the

developer chosen and the feasibility study complete, we will start examining the data to

uncover the most successful uses for the land.”

“The development of the land could include affordable housing, a daycare or

businesses that complement our existing health care campus,” says Whitfield. “We will

carefully plan the development of the land in a way our community can be proud of.”
