The fourth season of the Shane Center Outdoor Concert Series (SOCS) kicks off in a big way under the Henry Blake Pavilion at the Shane Center for the Arts at 415 E. Lewis in Livingston on June 5th.

The first show for this season features the Fossils doing their “authentic hippie music” for your listening and dancing pleasure. Local favorites the Fossils have been keeping Park County on the dance floor for decades with their mix of Grateful Dead, rhythm and blues and rock and roll. Rich “Pinky” Ruggles, Scott Boehler, Don Scott and Bill Dwyer will be taking the stage after 5 pm.

The event is from 4 to 8 pm each Thursday in June and July and is brought to you in partnership with Mighty Fine Time Live Events. The series is sponsored by Livingston HealthCare and Marcia McCrum, in memory of Bliss McCrum. The 2025 Shane Center Season is sponsored by the Yellowstone Valley Lodge and Grill.

Food trucks and beverages for all ages will be available on site, please no outside food and drink. Bring chairs or a blanket and don’t forget your dancing shoes! There is expanded bicycle parking onsite, and additional vehicle parking available at Lincoln School, 215 E. Lewis Street.

Next up, Afro Cuban/Jazz/Funk and Salsa master John Roberts brings his band Y Pan Blanco to the stage on June 12th. The big, horn based band had the entire Blake Pavilion on their feet last summer and brought along salsa instructors who taught the audience on the dance floor some fabulous new moves. It is nearly impossible not to move when this band takes the stage.
