The Town of Clyde Park will hold a public hearing before its monthly Council meeting on April 8th. The public hearing will begin at 6:30 pm at 516 Miles Street in Clyde Park. The Council has scheduled the hearing to obtain public comments regarding the Water System Improvements Preliminary Engineering Report and proposed water system improvements. With assistance from Great West Engineering, the Town of Clyde Park is preparing a Water System preliminary engineering report (PER) and is considering preparing applications for funding from the Montana Coal Endowment Program, DNRC Renewable Resource Grant program, Community Development Block Grant program, State Revolving Fund and USDA Rural Development.
At the public hearing, representatives of Clyde Park and Great West Engineering will explain the purpose of the project, the project area, the scope of work, budget, possible sources of funding, and any costs that may result for local citizens because of the project. Great West Engineering will also present its review of the project's impact on the environment. Copies of the draft Montana Environmental Policy Act environmental review and PER are available upon request. During the public hearing, residents may ask questions and express their opinions regarding the project and its impact on the Town of Clyde Park.
Residents can submit comments and questions about the project orally at the meeting or at any time via Great West Engineering Project Engineer Jesse Novak, jnovak@greatwesteng.com, 406-296-8140 or Project Manager Collette Anderson, ctanderson@greatwesteng.com, 406-495-6164.
