Its again time for Fall Fest, hosted by St. John's Episcopal Church on Saturday, October 31st from 9 am to 3 pm. Both Church Fellowship Hall and Emigrant Hall will be brimming over with vendors. Just off the cuff this year there’s a fun and impressive variety of new items, as well as your old favorites: homemade soaps and lotions, fairyland decor and creations, home baked goods, home designed and painted silk scarves, stuffed animals, art, crocheted products, leather goods and horseshoe earrings. Half-priced gemstone jewelry in silver and gold sell out quickly, so arrive early! Portrait demonstrations and stone paintings are also available. A raffle is included and lunch will be served—probably chili, but it’s a surprise. Hope you drop in to shop for yourself and others, visit with friends and, as always, make new ones.
Coming up the following week, it’s time to focus on another unique market venue: Doc Ava's craft show, which often includes a farm petting zoo. The event is hosted at Paradise Valley Equestrian Center, located on Rosemary Lane off East River Road. Wear your cowboy boots; the event is mostly held in the big horse arena and probably the same looky-loo horses will be peaking in from the south entrance. Doc Ava, a horse vet, takes care of many valley dogs, too. A crafts enthusiast, she started hosting her own markets on the property. It's a Montana market that really has something for everyone. There’s always a good crowd, lunch caterer, and vendors from all around the county, including Bozeman friends. Look forward to Ava's Market on November 7th from 9 am to 4 pm. Come prepared for chilly weather but be ready to have fun—and bring the kids!
See you all there!
