Free Concert by The MAX at the Sacajawea Park Bandshell, September 19th

The MAX will play a free concert on Saturday, September 19th from 4  to 8 pm at the Bandshell in Sacajawea Park. There is no admission charge and everyone is welcome. The concert is open to all ages. Food and beverages will be available for sale.

Frank O’Connor, candidate for Park County Commission, is hosting the show and plays bass in The MAX. He put the concert together to celebrate the citizens and communities of Park County.

“I have spoken with citizens all over Park County since spring,” says O’Connor. “What I keep finding is people who pay attention and want a hand in how this place runs. That is worth throwing a party over.”

The MAX is a 3-piece rock band from Livingston. “Available for pretty much anything you can throw jello at,” is their website description (themaxrocks.com). The MAX is celebrating its 41st year of high-energy rock-and-roll and have now played more than 4,000 since their inception in 1984.

“Park County has been good to my family, and I wanted to give something back,” O’Connor said. “This is the best way I know how. Four hours of music in the park with our neighbors, and it does not cost anybody a dime to walk in.”
