When was the last time you had the opportunity to watch a film that won the UNESCO Award for Media Literacy in North America? Or the winner of the Walter Cronkite for Excellence in Television in Political Journalism Award.
In partnership with The Getting Better Foundation, the Livingston Film Series presents Trust Me, a feature documentary exploring human nature, information technology, media bias, and the need for media literacy to help people trust one another. More poignant in today’s media environment than ever, Trust Me ensures that trust creates a more resilient population. The screening is scheduled for Thursday, November 5th at 7 pm. Admission is free to the public, though a suggested donation to the Getting Better Foundation is appreciated.
The Shane Center is located at 415 E. Lewis Street in Livingston. For more information, contact 406-222-1420 or visit www.theshanecenter.org.
Trust Me is presented by the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center. All this work would not have been possible without the dedication and resilience of Joe Phelps and the team at The Getting Better Foundation. Hope to see you there!
