The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts announce their season kickoff at the Blake Pavilion – Wylie & the Wild West appearing Saturday, May 30th at 7:30 pm.

Wylie & the Wild West have been performing their run-away horse style cowboy/folk/ swing/yodeling to the world since 1989. They play everything from three chords and the truth to two chords and a pack of lies. A Montanan singer-songwriter, Wylie Gustafson has recorded 24 albums backed by over three decades of performing around the world.  He remains distinct in country music as one of the few authentic voices of the genre. Wylie’s muse is the empty sprawl of his native Montana home where he crafts the words and music that reflect his life on the 4th generation family ranch.

The band features lead singer and guitarist Wylie Gustafson, Clayton Parsons on guitar, and Tim Lashley on drums. Stateside, they have performed at such prestigious venues as the National Folk Festival, MerleFest, the Bumbershoot Festival, The Stagecoach Festival, A Prairie Home Companion, The Conan O’Brien Show and over 50 guest appearances at the Grand Ole Opry.

The Shane Center will have tickets available on their website at www.theshanecenter.org. Wylie & the Wild West is generously sponsored by Mighty Fine Time Live Events, Home2Suites by Hilton, Walter & Regina Wunsch SPECTEC TIC, and Carol Lalani in Memory of Sal Lalani. There is bike parking available and overflow parking at the Lincoln School one block away. Seats will be provided for this show, and there will be a dance floor. Beverages will be available for sale at the show. The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts is located at 415 East Lewis Street in Livingston.
