Chico Hot Springs is proud to announce $40,000 in charitable contributions to five Park County nonprofit organizations through its Community Impact Fee program, reinforcing the resort’s ongoing commitment to strengthening and enriching the local community.

At Chico Hot Springs, community involvement is a core part of the organization’s mission. The resort actively seeks opportunities to make a positive impact through partnerships that support the arts, provide essential services to vulnerable individuals and families, improve healthcare access, and invest in educational opportunities for local youth. By supporting organizations that share these values, Chico Hot Springs strives to help build a stronger, more resilient future for everyone who calls Park County home.

To further this commitment, Chico Hot Springs introduced a 1% Community Impact Fee on all hotel stays beginning in 2024. Funds generated through this program are dedicated exclusively to supporting local causes and nonprofit organizations that make a meaningful difference throughout the community.

During the week of June 8, 2026, Chico Hot Springs distributed this year's Community Impact Fee donations to the following Park County organizations:

  • $10,000 to The Shane Center
  • $10,000 to ASPEN
  • $10,000 to The Livingston Healthcare Foundation
  • $5,000 to LINKS for Learning
  • $5,000 to Farm to School

“At Chico Hot Springs, we believe our responsibility extends beyond hospitality,” said Joel Meyer, General Manager. “The Community Impact Fee allows our guests to join us in supporting organizations that enhance the quality of life in Park County. We are honored to partner with these outstanding nonprofits and grateful for the important work they do every day.”

Since launching the Community Impact Fee program, Chico Hot Springs has remained dedicated to ensuring that tourism directly benefits the local community. Through these annual contributions, the resort and its guests are helping support arts programming, healthcare initiatives, educational opportunities, and essential community services throughout Park County.
