Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,
Voters in both Livingston and unincorporated Park County should pay close attention to this fall’s County Commission race. County government has the responsibility and authority over not only county roads and solid waste, but also services that affect residents county-wide, including elections, property taxation, and public health.
I offer a solid endorsement of Frank O’Connor for Park County Commissioner, having known Frank for many years as an experienced and successful business owner, an informed and committed volunteer board member, and an active and positive member of our community. Frank is an engaged listener and responds thoughtfully to the ideas and opinions of those with views and perspectives that may differ from his own. I have always, without exception, seen him treat everyone with fairness and respect. Frank understands that lasting solutions involve compromise, public economic resources are limited, and solid decisions should meet the needs of the community as a whole community.
