Frank O’Connor, candidate for Park County Commission, will hold a public forum on Wednesday, October 7th at 6:30 pm. The event will take place in the Bev Stevenson Room of the Livingston-Park County Public Library, 228 West Callender Street. The forum is free and open to the public.

O’Connor invites residents to tell him about issues that are important to them and ask about his plans for the county. “We need to listen to one another, understand the problems, and develop solutions together,” O’Connor said. “In Park County we are all in this together.”

The forum continues a series of community meetings O’Connor began in May. He has since met with residents in Wilsall, Clyde Park, Livingston, Emigrant, Gardiner and Cooke City. Housing costs and county roads have been mentioned at nearly every stop.

A third-generation Montanan, O’Connor has lived in Livingston for 63 years. He owns O’Connor Auto Body and NAPA Auto Parts in Livingston and has served on the Park County Planning Board and the Livingston City/Park County Planning Board.

“I want people who grew up in Park County to be able to keep living here, alongside neighbors who have come to love it as their home,” he said. “The only people looking out for Park County are us, and I am dedicated to preserving what makes Park County great. I promise to work hard for Park County.”

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd.
