The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts is bringing the popular Summer Outdoor Concert Series (SOCS) back for a fourth year in 2026. Starting June 4th and continuing through July 30th, the Shane Center will present free community concerts at the Henry Blake Pavilion from 5 to 8 pm each Thursday.
“What began as an idea in our parking lot four years ago has become a highlight of Livingston’s summer music plans,” said Shane Center Executive Director Erika Adams. “With our pavilion, we’re able to keep the community shaded and protected from wind and rain, while giving hundreds of friends the chance to gather every Thursday evening in June and July to enjoy some music and maybe even do some dancing. This year we’ve got a great lineup of returning favorites and new performers.”
The lineup is as follows:
- June 4th - The Waiting - Music of Tom Petty
- June 11th - Emma and the Ledge - Blues/Rock
- June 18th - Swamp Dawg - New Orleans Swampy Funk
- June 25th - John Roberts Y Pan Blanco - Afro Cuban Salsa
- July 2nd - The Max - Power Pop/Rock
- July 9th - Gary Small & the Coyote Brothers - Fine Boogie Music
- July 16th - Bo DePena Trio - Texas Country/Americana
- July 23rd - maple - Down South Party Band
- July 30th - Elana Hayden & the Sugar Daddies - Jazz/Blues/Country & Pop
The community is encouraged to arrive at the Blake Pavilion early. Attendees may bring chairs or blankets, but pets are prohibited. Make plans to enjoy the music and try rotating options from local food truck vendors with refreshments also available from the State Farm caboose, featuring soft drinks, beer and wine, popcorn and more.
Expanded bicycle parking is available onsite, and additional vehicle parking will be available at the Lincoln School, located at 215 E. Lewis Street. The event opens at 4 pm and food trucks will begin service at this time. The Shane Center is located at 415 E. Lewis Street.
“We couldn’t do this without our sponsors: Marcia McCrum (in memory of Bliss McCrum), Livingston Healthcare, Pine Creek Lodge and Carol Lalani (in memory of Sal Lalani), Walter and Regina Wunsch, our booking partners at Mighty Fine Time Live Events – John and Joanne Lowell, and most importantly, the Livingston community, who keeps us going with their support throughout the year,” shares Kate Britton, the Shane Center’s Development Director.
