Feeling confident online doesn’t require technical expertise—just clear, practical guidance. On Tuesday, May 12th from 5 - 8 pm, community members are invited to a Cyber Safety Clinic at the Livingston-Park County Public Library, presented by CyberMontana in partnership with the Livingston-Park County Public Library.
This clinic is designed for anyone who uses the internet, with a special emphasis on seniors, and focuses on practical, everyday ways to stay safer online. The session will be relaxed, interactive, and easy to follow—no technical background required and no pressure to “keep up.” Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices (phones, laptops) but isn’t required.
Participants will learn how to spot common scams, protect personal information, strengthen passwords, and understand today’s most common online risks. Questions are encouraged, and real-world examples will be used throughout the session.
The clinic will be led by Laura Haacke, a Security Awareness Trainer with CyberMontana, who specializes in helping people feel more confident and in control of their digital lives.
Thanks to this community partnership, there is no cost to attend. Registration is encouraged. Participants may register online via a QR code or sign up in person at the library. Coffee and a light snack will be provided.
