Help us keep our beloved Yellowstone River clean after another fantastic summer season through our annual Yellowstone River Cleanup! Whether you’re a floater or a walker, there’s a place for everyone to pitch in. Join us as we work to remove trash from the Yellowstone River and its fishing access sites from Gardiner to Big Timber. Then, celebrate with us afterwards with food, beer, and raffle prizes!
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, September 12th
- Time: Check in at 9 am
Locations:
- Sacajawea Park/Bandshell, Livingston
- Parks Fly Shop, Gardiner
- Sweetcast Angler Fly Shop, Big Timber
Volunteers are needed to both float and walk sections of the river for cleaning. Trash bags will be provided at the start of the event at the check in locations listed above. Once you've completed your section, all trash can be brought back to the bandshell in Sacajawea Park for disposal and weight collection.
Celebrate with Us After the Clean Up
After a successful day on the river, stay and celebrate with raffle prizes, cold beverages (courtesy of Neptune’s) and food provided by Matt Swan of Swan’s Fly-Fishing Guides. The grill will be fired up at 3 pm. To help reduce waste, please bring your own mug for drinks. Shuttle Services will be provided courtesy of B&G and Digger Drivers.
