More than 350 members and guests are expected to attend the 103rd Convention of the Montana State Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.), held June 5th-7th at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.
State President Linda Meine will preside over the meeting, which highlights this year’s theme: “Oh the Phe-Gnome-nal Opportunities of P.E.O.” The convention is co-chaired by Dee Ann Gosda and Kara Medley of the Livingston chapter. Hostess chapters include Absarokee, Bozeman and Livingston.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic educational organization founded in 1869, dedicated to helping women attain advanced education. Since its inception, P.E.O. has awarded more than $462 million in scholarships, financial assistance and support for Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri.
In addition to the regular business meeting, the convention will highlight projects, a luncheon honoring 50-year members and a Time of Remembrance.
