The Livingston Ice Skating Association is hosting an inaugural Rally for the Rink auction and evening of music, food, fun and community. On Friday, October 9th from 6 to 9 pm please join us at The Attic and enjoy music by The Beagles, as well as delicious BBQ from Follow Yer Nose. Who is the Livingston Ice Skating Association? LISA is a Park County nonprofit organization dedicated to building community around ice skating.
What are we trying to accomplish? We are working to maintain an ice rink open to all and build meaningful community programs around ice skating—open skating, youth and adult hockey programs, a figure skating club, broomball, curling and dreams of a larger ice rink someday to support growing interest.
Why is this important? Our rink is an impressive community asset. Each day, countless children, families, and friends congregate at the rink and lace up their skates. It has become a popular place to meet new friends, learn new skills, shake off the winter blues, and find joy. Our community struggles with mental health issues, and we know that physical activity, social connection and purpose are all important means to improving the mental well-being of Park County residents.
