Winans Primary School launched its Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students) program, welcoming its first volunteer to campus. Parent Matt Keck spent the day helping his school and community, roaming the hallways, connecting with students and handing out high fives.

Watch DOGS brings fathers and other positive male role models into the school. Their presence helps show students that education matters and that their community is invested in their success. Volunteers also provide extra sets of eyes and ears throughout the school, helping strengthen security and reduce bullying.

Keck’s first day offered students a friendly, encouraging presence around campus and marked the start of a program built on connection, service and support for Winans students.
