Small Plate Hospitality has launched a little social, a new community event space in downtown Livingston designed for intimate gatherings, meetings, workshops, pop-ups, concerts and celebrations.
Located inside Placed Gallery next to The Gem coffee shop, a little social offers a flexible 12 by 25-foot space that can accommodate up to 20 guests seated or 40 standing. The space features a long communal table with seating for 20, along with a small prep area with a sink and countertop for catering setup. Bar catering is available through The Owl.
Created by Livingston event professional and Small Plate Hospitality founder Lisa Machac, a little social is intended to provide an easy, affordable option for people and organizations looking for a beautiful downtown setting for gatherings of all kinds.
“Livingston has so many creative people, small businesses and community organizations, and I wanted to create a space where they could bring people together without having to commit to a large venue,” said Lisa.
Weekday half day rentals are $250 and weekend half day rentals are $400. One hour meeting rentals are also available Monday through Thursday. Reduced rates are available for nonprofits and small businesses.
