Returning for their fifth season, Swamp Dawg is the all-time crowd favorite band at The Shane Center’s Summer Outdoor Concert Series. We can’t imagine doing a summer schedule without having their fun, New Orleans-style funk music for your enjoyment. Attendees can expect “swampy” southern soul music with some new band members to continue the multicultural rhythmic explosion of funk, rhythm and blues, second line New Orleans classics and more. Prepare to dance!

Continuing each Thursday through July 30th, The Shane Center presents a free community concert at the Henry Blake Pavilion from 5 to 8 pm. On June 25th, come enjoy the Afro-Cuban Salsa music of John Roberts y Pan Blanco.

The community is encouraged to arrive early at the Blake Pavilion, bring chairs or blankets and please, no outside food or beverages. Make plans to enjoy the music, try rotating options from local food truck vendors and enjoy snacks and beverages from the State Farm caboose, including soft drinks, beer and wine, popcorn and more.

The Shane Center is located at 415 E. Lewis Street in Livingston. Expanded bicycle parking is available onsite, as well as additional vehicle parking at the Lincoln School, 215 E. Lewis Street. The event, including food truck service, begins at 4 pm. Again, please arrive early for this one, as it promises to be a full house!

This event is brought to you by Marcia McCrum in memory of Bliss McCrum, Livingston Health Care, Pine Creek Lodge, Yvonne Brutger and Dain Rodwell, Carol Lalani in memory of Sal Lalani and Mighty Fine Time Live Events.
